1989 Pierce Minuteman Quick Attack Engine

It is built on a GMC Topkick chassis with a Marmon - Harrington 4x4 conversion. The truck has a 1000gpm Waterous mid-ship pump and carries 300 gallons of water.

The truck will likely be sold equipped with Three - 8ft lengths of 5" Hard Suction, deluge gun, 26ft extension ladder, roof ladder, a 5kw gas generator and 2 - 500w quartz lights.

For many of you visiting, it may be the first time you have ever thought about the people, your neighbors, that respond to the fires, motor vehicle crashes and medical emergencies that happen every day.

What makes the Middlesex Fire Department such a valuable resource to the community is it's volunteers. Our fire department is entirely volunteer. The department currently consists of about 20 active firefighters, this is simply not enough! We are in need of new members, all you need is a desire to help a neighbor.

No one that joins us is any different from you!
